Less time pulling reports.
Better decisions.
Improvements put into practice.

We bring your ecommerce information into one clearer view, work out what deserves attention, and carry agreed improvements through with your team.

A team-supported service, not another dashboard to manage alone.

Illustration of the service process. It shows no figures and no client data.
  1. Step 1

    Your information

    Sales, costs, marketing and operations

  2. Step 2

    Shared commercial view

One set of definitions, limits stated

  3. Step 3

    Prioritised work

    What deserves attention first

  4. Step 4

    Implemented changes

    Agreed, then actually made

  5. Step 5

    Outcome review

    What was observed afterwards

Time saved, better decisions, improvements in practice.

  1. Time

    Less time pulling reports

A shared view can reduce manual reconciliation.

Released time is capacity, not a guaranteed cash saving.

  2. Decisions

    A clearer next move

Evidence, alternatives and uncertainty set out plainly.

We do not promise perfect attribution or a single best action.

  3. Profit

    Changes put into practice

Agreed changes get an owner, are made, then reviewed.

Better visibility is not the same as a financial improvement.

From commercial information to work that gets done.

  1. Step 1: Establish the baseline. Agree definitions and bring the relevant information into one view, with its limitations stated.

  2. Step 2: Investigate material issues. Look into the questions that matter most before proposing anything.

  3. Step 3: Prioritise and propose changes. Put proposed changes to you for approval, with the evidence and the uncertainty.

  4. Step 4: Implement within agreed scope. Carry out agreed work, or coordinate with the team or agency responsible for it.

  5. Step 5: Review what happened. Record what was actually changed, review the outcome, and decide the next step.

  • We implement
  • We coordinate
  • We advise

We implement: Where the work is within the agreed scope. We coordinate: With your team or agency, where they are better placed to execute. We advise: Where execution falls outside the agreed scope. We do not take responsibility for every marketing, finance, logistics or inventory function.

Finding
Product contribution may have changed.
Evidence
Costs, refunds and price history, with their limits.
Proposal
A change put to you for approval.
Owner
A named person who carries it out.
Review
Observed on an agreed date. Not proof of cause.

What you see

  • Qualified commercial measures, with their data limitations
  • Current priorities
  • Proposals that need your approval
  • Records of what was actually implemented
  • Reviewed observations and next steps

NorthScale is the system our team uses to organise evidence, manage agreed work and make progress visible. APEX, where it appears in our work, is a supporting prioritisation approach. It is not a proven optimal-decision engine.

Where is your commercial process holding you back?

What you receive

  • Your clearest improvement area, from your answers
  • Time, Decisions and Profit visibility findings
  • Adjustable, illustrative scenarios
  • A financial view, where your detail supports it
  • What we would investigate first

Scoped to the work your business needs.

An engagement depends on the commercial questions, data readiness, the stores and markets involved, who is responsible for implementation, and the operating cadence you agree. The next step is a fit discussion informed by your Health Check.

  1. Step 1

    Commercial Health Check

  2. Step 2

    Fit and data-grounded assessment

  3. Step 3

    Scoped improvement work

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing review where valuable

Who this is for, and where it stops
  • Established stores with commercial decisions worth improving
  • Teams spending time joining information across sources
  • Businesses without clear cross-functional ownership
  • Teams willing to share relevant information and implement agreed changes
  • Incomplete inputs limit what we can conclude
  • This is not a replacement for statutory accounting or a financial audit
  • Specialist technical or execution work may need a separate scope
  • A very small or simple store may need a lighter engagement

You do not need to run paid advertising for the service to be relevant.

Examples of commercial work

Examples of commercial work. These illustrate the kind of question we look at. They are not customer results.

  • Deteriorating product contribution

Why is this product contributing less than before?

  • Discount or bundle economics

Is this offer worth repeating after relevant costs?

  • Costly returns

Which returns cost the most, and why?

  • Shipping-threshold economics

Does the free-shipping threshold help or hurt contribution?

  • Acquisition allocation

Where does acquisition spend appear to earn its keep?

  • Stock constraints

Where could stock be limiting sales?

Not every example is automated, and none is a prescription. What is right depends on the business context.

How we define things

These explain our method. They are not proof of results.

Net sales
Sales excluding sales taxes, after discounts, with refund treatment stated.
Contribution
Net sales less the variable costs that are supplied, with any missing categories listed.
Implemented
A change that was actually made, recorded separately from being approved.
Reviewed
What was observed afterwards. An observation is not proof that a change caused it.

Every proposed change is approved by you, implemented and recorded, then reviewed on an agreed date.
